Coffee is our passion and way of life. It's a morning ritual that makes the day more beautiful.
"Marina, would you have a cup of coffee with me?" Her mother asked, and that's how it all started when she was 11 years old. Coffee has become a part of her life and everyday ritual. In the morning, the grandmother went to the market, bought green coffee, roasted it and they grind it together abd each day they had fresh coffee.
In 2016, Marina enrolled in a barista academy to upgrade her knowledge and that’s when we realized we know practically nothing about coffee. When we started to get to know coffee in a completely different light, we found that it is very difficult to find good coffee with us or that good coffee is prepared in a cafe, so we joined the SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) due to the desire to know about coffee.
The acquired knowledge impressed us so much that we embarked on a joint business trip of coffee research. We have opened our own cafe and roastery Mariposa Coffee Roasters, where we offer seasonal coffee of the highest quality in the specialty coffee class and now we are happy to share our experiences with others.

Our desire is to teach people and show them that coffee is more than just some bitterness or taste after roasting, but that there is much more lurking in the background.
